Brief Biography:

I am a London-based consultant providing programme design, evaluation, guidance development, and training services, to international organizations, governments and NGOs.  Specific expertise in peacebuilding, peacekeeping and humanitarian response.  Thematic knowledge of gender mainstreaming (including Security Council resolution 1325 (2000) and related resolutions, mine action, police, justice, corrections, DDR of former combatants, security sector reform.

Areas of Expertise:

Design of monitoring systems and indicators, and programme evaluation and performance audits (using non-experimental design, and qualitative and quantitative data collection methods) (e.g., Gender Audit done of the UN Mission in Liberia, July 2013); Drafting of guidelines, lessons learned and good practices (e.g. drafting of UN peacekeeping guidelines on women's participation in electoral processes, August 2013); Training design and delivery on project management; Over 16 years in peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian assistance and human rights, including 5 years based in conflict/post-conflict countries (Horn of Africa, Zimbabwe and Haiti)
