Elizabeth is currently working as a consultant in which she makes use of her skills, knowledge and experience in programme development, strategic planning, project management, partnership development, fundraising, grant management, research and diaspora related programmes. Elizabeth has over 13 years’ experience of working in international development sectors both in the UK and African countries. She is particularly passionate and experienced in women’s and girls’ sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) issues that she can relate to with first-hand experience of living and working in Ethiopia and five other East and West African countries. Her specific expertise focuses on dealing with the issues of HIV & AIDS, harmful practices including Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and child marriage, and maternal health particularly obstetric fistula.
