Gauthami Penakalapati

Brief Biography:

I am a graduate student in the Energy and Resources Group (ERG) at UC Berkeley. I am interested in building and evaluating sustainable, iterative, and progressive programs supporting female adolescent health and well-being. I am especially interested in female adolescent empowerment and critical consciousness and how agency, identity development, and mentorship can promote creative and resilient life skills.

I am a mixed-methods researcher. I have 6+ years of experience designing and implementing research in international settings. I am a mixed methods researcher with modelling, social network analysis skills (ego-centric surveys), qualitative methods, and photo documentary.
