Brief Biography:

Senior gender and child rights professional with over 15 years global experience across Asia, Africa and the Caribbean.  Throughout my extensive career I have been heavily involved in the programme delivery, policy engagement, monitoring and evaluation of technical assistance programmes for UNICEF and non-governmental organisations.  This experience has been gained from several locations –UNICEF South Sudan, UNICEF Zambia, UNICEF Malawi, UNICEF Eastern Caribbean, UNICEF HQ New York, South Africa, Lesotho and Nepal.   Key programming areas that I’ve been a thought leader on are – child protection – gender based violence (inc. SGBV), violence against children, protection of civilians, birth registration, law reform, juvenile justice, rule of law, peace-building, education, monitoring and evaluation.
