Independent consultant with 16 years experience working on gender equality, women’s rights, child rights and international development issues for a range of development organisations including Womankind Worldwide, Amnesty International and Save the Children. More recently Ceri has worked as a freelancer for a wide range of NGOs (including Oxfam, GAD Network, BRIDGE, Women for Women International), donors (Comic Relief) and UN agencies (UN Women and UNDP). She has a Masters in the Theory and Practice of Human Rights. Her experience of field-based work includes Afghanistan, Albania, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Ghana, Iraq, Malawi, Nepal, Peru and South Africa.
