Damon has worked in the third sector for a decade, including spending five years with Oxfam. Whilst with Oxfam he was based in Senegal and worked on a project to develop their partners capacity to work on women's rights by organising a workshop in Dakar and creating online courses in four languages. Authored a book on women’s rights in Southern Africa in 2016. Currently works as a Fundraising Manager and is a trustee for an organisation working on land rights in Argentina.
He holds a MA in International Relations from Warwick University and a First in Business Studies as an undergraduate. Since completing his MA he has studied micro-finance at Cambridge, economics of developing nations at Oxford as well as courses in shelter, WASH and urban humanitarianism at the likes of RedR.
