Laeticia has more than 20 years of professional experience in Gender and Development work. She worked for UNDP and the African Development Bank for a total of 17 years. Previously, she had worked as a Human Resource Manager for a government owned firm. Her expertise lies in the areas of policy development, project design, gender training, resource mobilization and human resource management. Laeticia has also done consulting work for a number of international and national organizations on issues such as gender and integrated pest management, women labour force participation, gender and credit and the transformative potential of gender policies, among others. She recently conducted training on Gender issues in Statistics for officials of the National Bureau of statistics in Tanzania. She was also a consultant for the ILO and UNWOMEN and prepared a Report on the Gender Analysis of the Integrated Labour Force Survey. She has authored, co-authored and published a number of books and articles on gender equality issues.
