Louise is a Gender Specialist with over 9 years’ experience in women and girls rights, specialising in tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG). With excellent communication, research and negotiation skills, Louise is able to build robust working relationships with a wide range of donors, partners and stakeholders both nationally and internationally. She is an experienced trainer, and has undertaken a number of assignments which focus on mainstreaming gender within programmatic work, most recently working in Tanzania where she managed the gender programme and provided technical input into VSO Tanzania’s project design and internal policies and procedures to ensure gender was mainstreamed and integrated across all of the programmatic areas – Education, Health and Secure Livelihoods.
