Sally Baden

Brief Biography:

Sally Baden is an experienced researcher, policy analyst and programme manager specialising in gender issues in economic development. She was Senior Adviser: Agriculture and Women's Livelihoods for Oxfam GB (2010-13), where she managed research on Women’s Collective Action in Agriculture and Oxfam International’s advocacy on investment in agriculture. Prior to this she led the 'Make Trade Fair' campaign for Oxfam International in West Africa (2001-5) and managed livelihoods programmes (2006-10). Before joining Oxfam, Sally was manager of the Briefings on Development and Gender (BRIDGE) project and co-directed the MA in Gender and Development (1998-2000) at the IDS, University of Sussex.
