Shelley Joyce

Brief Biography:

Shelley Joyce has just completed an MSc in Gender, Development and Globalisation (MSc) at the London School of Economics (LSE) and is now working for an education charity, leading change management for their post-merger restructure activity.  She has over 20 years’ experience as a communication and change management specialist, helping organisations to deliver culture, behaviour and process change on global transformation initiatives. Goal-focused, with a commitment to excellence, she combines creativity and strategic thinking with a disciplined approach to programme management. She is a trustee and board director for a care and support charity in North London ( and was Women’s Officer for Islington South Labour for two years.

Areas of Expertise:

Change Management and Strategic Communication professional with 20 years’ experience working on global transformation projects; currently working for two recently merged education charities, delivering change management activity post-merger and on the subsequent restructure.  She has been Trustee and Board member of for 4 years (Outward is a care and support charity for people with learning difficulties); recently completed MSc in Gender, Development & Globalisation at LSE.

Interest in men’s engagement in gender equality, tackling VAWG, feminist economics, affective equality and the care economy, Sexuality, women and political engagement, and reproductive autonomy.
