Victoria has held various roles in international development, most recently at Stars Foundation where she worked as Impact Awards Programme Assistant for Latin America-Caribbean and Africa-Middle East. Prior to this role, she worked at Children Change Colombia, a UK charity defending the rights of children at risk in Colombia. Through her career she has developed an expertise on children’s rights, with a particular focus on those of girls, who face specific barriers to living happy, healthy and fulfilling lives as equal citizens worldwide. Growing up in Costa Rica provided Victoria with first-hand knowledge of the Latin American socio-economic and cultural context.
She holds an MSc in Political Economy of Late Development from the London School of Economics and a BA in International Relations and Development Studies from the University of Sussex.
