Making Tax work for Women in the UK and Globally

On 28 June 2017, Dinah Musindarwezo, FEMNET Executive Director and guest of GADN in London, spoke at an event on 'Making tax work for women in the UK and globally', organised by Christian Aid, ActionAid, the Women's Budget Group, FEMNET, Womankind and the Gender & Development Network.

Dinah joined Jalia Kangave of the International Centre for Tax and Development, Mary-Ann Stephenson of the Women’s Budget Group, and Liz Nelson of Tax Justice Network to discuss how tax systems at the global and national levels are gendered, and need to be restructured in order to promote gender equality. The audience included gender experts, tax experts, policymakers and business representatives.
