Nicola Chanamuto

Brief Biography:

I have 13 years’ experience in a range of organisations including local government bodies, grassroots charities, international aid agencies and social enterprises. I have worked on participation and engagement with various marginalised communities in the UK and Asia. I have particularly enjoyed developing training and capacity building programmes for women and girls. My academic background is in Anthropology and Development (University of Sussex) and I hold a Masters degree in Gender and Development (Institute of Development Studies). I am a current PhD candidate at the University of Lincoln, looking at female labour migration and domestic work. I also deliver consultancy work and am an Associate Lecturer in the School of Political and Social Science at the University of Lincoln.
