Kathryn Lockett has been working on gender, GBV and conflict issues for the last twenty years. She is currently a Senior Gender, Conflict and Stability Adviser with the UK Stabilisation Unit; and has previously worked for DFID (on the VAWG Team and in the Fragile States and Conflict Group), Womankind Worldwide, the British Red Cross and a variety of other INGOs and NGOs. Kathryn has worked overseas in a variety of conflict settings including Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Pakistan, Nepal and Nigeria. She is an experienced writer, trainer, researcher, team leader and programme manager with a proven track record in successfully managing complex programmes of work, including effective team and partnership management. Kathryn has also produced a range of guidance notes and tool kits to support staff integrate gender and GBV into their programming.
