Women's Participation and Leadership
The Women's Participation and Leadership working group shares information and best practice on members' work in this area, as well as seeking to influence the sector's approach to increasing women's participation, leadership, influence and decision making. The group works through two sub-groups - on policy/advocacy and on programming.

To learn from each others' work - and that of external agencies and initiatives - to increase the quality and impact of existing programme and policy work amongst both working group and wider GADN members;
To pool experience and expertise in order to contribute to GADN, UK government and other stakeholder initiatives, including targeted policy advice and advocacy in relation to women’s participation and leadership;
To explore opportunities to work on cross-agency working group projects and to use these to influence sectoral thinking, practice and resourcing;
To collaborate on emerging GADN initiatives with colleagues in the wider network as required and where value is added by the group’s combined expertise.
