The purpose of the GADN Preventing Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH) group is try to ensure that the UK sector’s response on sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment and safeguarding is rooted in an understanding of gender and other power inequalities.

A steering group provides strategic direction and practical proposals and support.

Aims:

  • To provide a platform for learning and best practice amongst GADN members on safeguarding

  • To coordinate input to DFID and other key decision makers’ initiatives and consultations on safeguarding, including via Bond

  • To promote feminist analysis of sexual harassment, abuse and exploitation across the sector, particularly ensuring that voices of women from the global south are heard.
