I am a gender and development consultant with extensive experience in research; writing and editing high profile publications; programme management and capacity building. I have a PhD in Social Anthropology from SOAS.
I led BRIDGE for six years and was co-leader of the Institute of Development Studies' Gender and Sexuality Cluster from 2014 to 2016. I am a former Board member of GADN. Recently I directed a USAID-funded partnership with the World Food Programme, promoting an innovative 'ground-up' approach to gender mainstreaming.
Areas of Expertise:
Women's political participation, access to justice for women, gender-just food security, climate change, migration, trafficking, organisational learning and M&E. I have worked in Asia (especially Myanmar, Thailand and Japan) and Francophone West Africa. I am fluent in French and Thai.
