Brief Biography:

As a trailblazer in governance and women’s rights, I retired as Ebonyi State’s first Female Head of Service after decades of public sector leadership. My career focuses on advancing gender equality through policy reform, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building initiatives. I design programs that empower marginalized women, with expertise in governance restructuring, health advocacy, and intersectional gender training for NGOs. As Executive Director of Daughters of Virtue and Empowerment Initiative (DOVENET), I launched a groundbreaking initiative to bridge the technology gap for women and girls, challenging systemic biases in STEM participation. My work amplifies women’s agency in policy and economic spheres.

With extensive experience in high-level governance and policy advocacy, I possess a unique skill set that enables me to effectively influence decision-makers and drive systemic change. Policy advocacy involves strategic research, public campaigns, and coalition-building to address pressing social, economic, and environmental issues. Having worked at the highest level of governance, I have had the opportunity of interacting and working with government at the highest level. My proven track record in this field, coupled with my ability to collaborate with government officials at the highest level, positions me to provide valuable insights and expertise.

In addition to policy advocacy, I have a strong background in fundraising having successfully secured grants and partnerships with prominent international organizations, including MOMENTUM, Presidents' Malaria Initiative for States (PMI-S), Friends of Nigeria (FON), and EngenderHealth. My expertise in mobilizing resources through diverse channels, such as grants, donations, and crowdfunding, ensures that advocacy efforts and projects receive the necessary funding to operate effectively.
