Join AWID and the Gender & Development Network for a webinar discussion on feminist demands around corporate accountability and workers’ rights.

Following the release of the draft UN Treaty on Transnational Corporations & Human Rights in July 2018, this webinar will allow for thinking collectively about what kind of transformations are needed to make corporate accountability a reality from a feminist perspective, rooted in shared feminist visions for an alternative economy.

We will explore:

-        How and why are corporate abuses of human rights feminist concerns?

-        What is the UN binding treaty, and why is it important?

-        How are feminists engaging in this process, and what are we calling for?

-        How does the UN treaty fit within wider feminist concerns around corporate accountability?

-        Where do workers' and feminists' demands on corporate accountability overlap?
