Yamina Ouldali

Acting Head of Policy

Yamina has a background in communications and programme management and has previously worked for different development organisations, from a local Algerian youth NGO to the GIZ and Plan International.

Of German and Algerian heritage, she is passionate about decolonising the aid sector as well as decolonisation more broadly, which is why she co-founded Postcolonial Encounters.

During the course of her studies, she has conducted research on women entrepreneurship in Morocco, women empowerment of Syrian refugees in Egypt and Jordan as well as digital Muslim feminism on Instagram and holds a Master’s degree in International Development Studies.
