Yamina Ouldali
Head of Policy
Yamina joined GADN in 2021 with a background in gender equality programming, communications, convening and political education. She has previously worked with a range of social justice organisations, including a local Algerian youth NGO and Plan International.
Her German and Algerian heritage informs her commitment to decolonisation and anti-racism, leading to her co-founding Postcolonial Encounters, an initiative that was aimed at raising awareness about the ongoing impacts of colonialism and how it is perpetuated across societies and global structures.
She holds an MA in International Development Studies, during which she conducted research on various topics, including digital Muslim feminism on Instagram, right-wing narratives on German social media, and the self-determination of Syrian refugee women in Egypt and Jordan.
