Brief Biography:

Larissa Silvestri is a Project Manager and Community Engagement Specialist. She is dedicated to fostering collaboration, promoting knowledge exchange, and driving action on solutions supporting biodiversity conservation and climate resilience. As an advocate for nature and women's rights, Larissa focuses on the intersection of biodiversity, climate change, and gender equality. Her background in law enriches her approach to human rights and environmental issues. Larissa actively participates in international forums, such as COP16, to advance discussions on biodiversity finance and structural reforms.

Areas of Expertise:

I am a Lawyer with expertise in civil and environmental law, having working with the synergy between the agendas of the three Rio Conventions specifically focused on the gender-responsiveness of the policies and advocating for more inclusiveness of the women and girls in the democracy spaces through building capacities and abilities in grass-roots activities in the Brazilian context. I am a project manager and Co-founder of the Brazilian Network of Biodiversity and Climate. I am passionate about community engagement, capacity building, and promoting and strengthening women's and girls' voices.
