Kathi Hanifnia has dedicated her 12-year career in international development to advancing agency, dignity, and systemic change, especially for women and girls. Her experience spans work with government, philanthropy, and frontline work across Africa, Asia, the Pacific, and the UK including FCDO, ODI and the Global Innovation Fund (GIF).

Kathi now works as an independent consultant. Previously, as Investment Director at GIF, she co-managed a $15m gender portfolio, led due diligence and financial oversight for new grants, and connected local leaders to global funding.

At GADN, she is committed to strengthening financial sustainability and fostering feminist collaboration.
