Desiree Acholla

Brief Biography:

As Principal of her consulting firm, Inararibonye Advisors, Desiree Acholla helps international development organizations establish a decolonial, anti-racist praxis that is relevant and responsive to their context. Desiree holds a bachelor’s in Anthropology from the University of Montana, a Joint Master in Education Policies for Global Development from the University of Amsterdam, the University of Oslo, and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from Cornell University. She is currently funded by the Arts and Research Council to research decolonization and international development under a Collaborative Doctoral Award at the University of Southampton.
